103.9 THE FISH program director, Max Miller moved to California in the summer of 1990. 'We jammed our family, including our big red Chow (Cody,) into the old Hyundai and headed west. It was a memorable trip, since the Hyundai's air conditioner would not work when the car was pointed uphill. It's amazing how many mountains are between here and Colorado Springs!'
Seventeen years later and the Millers are comfortably settled in Folsom. 'We live up on a hill, just a short walk from the American River. Sadly, Cody passed away a few years ago, but our new dog, Molly (a hike-loving miniature Dachshund) thinks we moved to paradise. I think she's right. My wife, Donna and I love Folsom and the Sacramento region. We feel like we're home.
Max's previous career stops include Modesto, Colorado Springs, Tulsa and Wichita. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University (basketball powerhouse) and a big fan of the Sacramento Kings.
